Email: phbaer@vs.uni-kassel.de Research InterestsAutonomous RobotsI’m involved in the Carpe Noctem RoboCup Team we have stated in late 2005. We designed a team of robots that can move, kick, and recognize their environment through an omni-directional camera (the camera is looking upwards onto an axially symmetric mirror; this emulates an ultra-wide angle lens). Within this project I’m pursuing my PhD topic: A framework platform-independent secure robot collaboration. It deals with communication issues and security requirements for groups of autonomous mobile systems. Applied Cryptography and Computer SecurityI’m also very interested in applied cryptography, crypto protocols, and computer security. My diploma thesis dealt with authentication in groups of distributed systems which perfectly represents my interests in this area. TeachingAs a part of my job I take part in research and training.
The following diploma/bachelor/master theses have been conducted in out robotics lab; most of them have been (co-)supervised by me. 2008
